National Awards for Amitabh, 3 Idiots

While Big B has bagged the third National Award for his performance in Paa, Malayalam film Kutty Srank won the best film award. Blockbuster 3 Idiots was adjudged the best popular film providing wholesome entertainment.

While Amitabh Bachchan has bagged the third National Award for his performance in Paa, Malayalam film "Kutty Srank" won the best film award. Blockbuster 3 Idiots was adjudged the best popular film award providing wholesome entertainment.

Rituparno Ghosh gets the National Award for best director for the film Abohoman, filmmaker Ramesh Sippy told journalists while announcing the 57th National Film Awards on Wednesday. The film also got Ananya Chatterjee the best actress award.

While actor Farooq Sheikh got the best supporting actor award for Lahore, Arundhati Nag bagged the best supporting actress award for Paa.

Amitabh Bachchan has earlier won National Awards for Agneepath and Black.
