Neetu to play lead in greek film

Actor Neetu Chandra has bagged the lead role in Greek producer Kyriakos Tofaridis’s film, Home Sweet Home, leaving behind Priyanka Chopra, Deepika Padukone and Sonam Kapoor, who were also in the running for the part.

“I was looking for someone to play a serene Indian girl but with gusto and confidence. Neetu was the perfect fit,” says Kyriakos, who spent four years working on the script. “This role couldn’t have come at a better time since I was surrounded by too much negative publicity, link-ups and controversies,” says Neetu. The film will be shot in English and Greek.
