New rumour: Katrina opts out of film deal to settle down with Ranbir

Katrina Kaif and Ranbir Kapoor have often been bombarded with questions about their alleged relationship. The latter recently even abruptly exited an event when a reporter asked him whether rumours of his wedding with Katrina were true. An insider tells us that the rumour this time is that Katrina has decided against doing a three-film deal with a major production house because she was being asked to give the company her dates in bulk.

“She is apparently returning the signing amount because she plans to settle down with Ranbir soon, and that’s why she is not in a position to commit bulk dates to new projects,” says the source.

Currently, Katrina has three films in her kitty. Director Kabir Khan’s next with Saif Ali Khan, which is already complete, director Abhishek Kapoor’s adaptation of Charles Dickens’s The Great Expectations — the shooting of which is in progress — and director Anurag Basu’s next with Ranbir, which is slated to release towards the end of the year.
