A PIL has been filed in the Lucknow Bench of Allahabad High Court, seeking a stay on the release of the Salman Khan starrer Ready, citing objection to its song Character dheela...

The Public Interest Litigation, moved jointly by chairman of Hindu Personal Law Board, Ashok Pandey, and its general secretary Vinod Shanker Mishra, has sought direction to cancel certification of the movie.

The movie released yesterday. The petitioners have complained that the song having “raas leela” in its lyrics, which is being aired on television channels, is indecent and an attack on the Sanatana Dharma (Hinduism). Actor Salman Khan, director Anees Bazmi, Central Board of Film Certification and the secretary of information and broadcasting have been made respondents in the PIL.
