Preity Zinta’s FB post on hubby Gene Goodenough will melt your heart
It’s nice to see Preity in high spirits again. The Kya Kehna star had been keeping silent about her personal life ever since she had a public spat with her former entrepreneur-boyfriend Ness Wadia two years ago.
Preity Zinta has a message for all those who are complaining about her marriage with Gene Goodenough being too hush-hush, and trust us – it’s sure to bring a smile to your face.
Preity and Gene, an American citizen, have been friends for a long time. He was said to be a key witness to her alleged molestation at the hands of Ness at Mumbai’s Wankhede Stadium, an incident over which she later filed a police complaint.
This is what the actor posted on Facebook on Saturday night: “I was holding onto the ‘Miss Tag’ rather seriously till now, until I met someone ‘Goodenough’ to give it up for. So now I join the married club, folks. Thank you all for your good wishes and for all your love. Love you all.”

Gene, a resident of Los Angeles in the United States, is a senior vice president of finance with a US-based hydroelectric power company called NLine Energy. He completed his MBA from the Esade Business and Law School in Spain, and then followed it up with another masters’ degree from the USC Marshall School of Business, Los Angeles.
