"Priyanka hasn’t been keeping well for a while. Due to her hectic work schedule, she was already feeling a little weak before filming began in Mumbai. Then a few days ago, when she started shooting at 7 am, her situation worsened. By noon, she was feeling uneasy and that’s when her family doctor had to be called," says an insider from the unit, adding, "She had low blood pressure, so he gave her the required medication. She took about an hour to recover, so the crew was given a break for that time. She resumed work after that and continued shooting till 10.30 pm at a suburban studio that day."

Although Priyanka remained unavailable, her spokesperson confirmed the news.

Incidentally, this isn’t the first time the actor has suffered from low BP. In the past, she had reportedly fainted on the sets of What’s Your Raashee? (2009) "due to over exhaustion and low BP".

In 2012, she had to opt out of performing at a police event due to similar reasons.
