Contrary to reports, Priyanka Chopra is not getting 9 crore for Zanjeer. In fact, Ram Charan who's stepping into Big B's shoes, would bag Rs 12 crore for his debut Bollywood movie.

According to TOI, Charan's close friends reveal that Priyanka is only getting Rs 5.5 crore for the film.

An industry source told the daily, "It is ridiculous to even suggest that PC will get a price higher than that of Charan's. Charan is getting 10 crore in Andhra Pradesh and has been signed on for 12 cr now for his Bollywood debut. Whoever is responsible for these stories should do some serious re-thinking."

Sources also suggest that Priyanka's PR machinery is behing spreading such stories.
