One-film old Rajeev Khandelwal will be seen in a new avatar in his upcoming film, Soundtrack. The actor has done away with his long locks for his role.

The actor will sport a new hairstyle in the film. Last seen in his debut film, Aamir, Rajeev was hesitant to get rid of his tresses. “I have cut my hair short for this film. The character I am playing is that of a young DJ. After trying multiple looks, the director felt that short hair would best suit my character,’ the actor said.

“Since the past two years, I’ve had long hair, so I was a bit hesitant to cut my hair. But, after much thought, I felt this was the right look for me,” he added.
