Rajinikanth and Chiranjeevi want to watch Bhaag Milkha Bhaag

South superstars praise and express interest in watching Farhan Akhtar’s latest release

Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra’s recent release Bhaag Milkha Bhaag, the biopic on legendary sprinter Milkha Singh, has found admirers not only in theatre-goers but also south superstars Rajinikanth and Chiranjeevi. An insider from the film’s production house reveals that the two senior actors have conveyed their interest in watching the film to Farhan Akhtar, who portrayed the Flying Sikh in the film.

“Both of them called Farhan and praised whatever little they’ve seen of the film in the trailers. They expressed their interest in watching the entire movie,” says the source. The source goes on to reveal that the co-producers of the film are arranging for a special screening for the stalwarts this week, though they are yet to finalise the time and place for the show.

When contacted, a spokesperson from the film’s production house confirms this development, saying, “Yes, Rajinikanth and Chiranjeevi have reached out to us and expressed their wish to watch the film. We are overwhelmed with the fabulous response the film is getting.”
