Ranbir Kapoor is currently shooting for Ayan Mukherji’s Brahmastra in Bulgaria. The actor, however, took a much deserved break with his co-star Amitabh Bachchan as they caught a show of Tom Cruise’s Mission Impossible: Fallout.

“At the movies .. Ranbir and I for IMPOSSIBLE Mr Tom Cruise,” Amitabh captioned a photo of himself and Ranbir on Instagram. The two are seen in black sweats and sneakers as they exchanged a hug at the theatre and took their seats. According to Amitabh’s blog, they were joined by Akhil, son of his co-actor from the film, Nagarjuna.

“A rare day off from work and the joy of being independent with near and dear to languish in side a movie theatre to see the ‘Impossible ..’ and then to get together for an evening in the room .. chatter and fun poking , rumour mongering, or the lack of it , deciphering the makers of our industry, the talents to come and to stay, incidents of the past , and relating to the present and future .. and the outcome of the meetings for the present on board film,” Amitabh wrote about his day.

Brahmastra’s female lead, Alia Bhatt, also shared a picture of the Mission Impossible: Fallout title on her Instagram stories, which meant she was also watching the movie with her co-stars. She also shared a picture of herself, clicked by Ranbir earlier on Wednesday. They are also dating in real life.

Brahmastra is being directed by Ayan Mukherji of Wake Up Sid and Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani. It is slated for an August 15, 2019 release.
