Ranbir Kapoor asks Ayan Mukerji not to hurry with their superhero film?

Ranbir Kapoor has apparently told director-friend Ayan Mukerji to take his time to work on the script of their superhero film. For the uninitiated, Ranbir Kapoor will play a mythological superhero in Ayan Mukerji's next.

It might have been over four months since Ranbir Kapoor's next with director Ayan Mukerji was announced, but if you're looking forward to hearing when the film is going to go on the floors, then you might have to wait for some time.

Apparently, the actor has given his director-friend, who is also writing the film, as much as time as needed to complete the script. "Ranbir knows that superhero films have been made in Bollywood in the past, so he wants to give Ayan enough time to come up with something new. So, there's no pressure on Ayan to start the film," says a source.

While speaking about his character in the film a few days ago, Ranbir had told us, "It's a fantasy-based film; a mythology (set) in contemporary times. And it will have a boy who will have some form of superpowers (sic)."

We tried reaching Ayan and Ranbir, but they were unavailable for comments.
