Ranbir not upset with final edit of Bombay Velvet: Anurag Kashyap

Reports recently said that Ranbir Kapoor did not like the final edit of Bombay Velvet when he saw it and even gave a piece of his mind to director Anurag Kashyap. The helmer, however, refutes all the rumours.

Ranbir Kapoor’s upcoming film Bombay Velvet with director Anurag Kashyap might be a highly anticipated release, but it has been in the news for all the wrong reasons.

Initially, the project was set to hit the big screen by Christmas this year. However, to avoid a clash with Aamir Khan’s next PK, the release was preponed to November. Then, citing some post-production work, the release date was pushed to May 2015.

Now, rumour has it that Ranbir, who recently watched the film, isn’t happy with the final product. Apparently, the actor even made his displeasure clear to Anurag.

But when we spoke to Anurag, he insisted otherwise, saying, "Ranbir has loved the film. He is willing to do anything for us (the producers). I’m just waiting to share the film with the audience now because I am tired of people telling me that my edit is not locked or that I will be re-shooting the film. It’s an expensive film and re-shooting it is big and expensive decision, and not one that we’re taking."
