Remember Randeep Hooda’s gripping performances in D (2005) and more recently Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster (2011)? Now, the actor is back with D’s director Vishram Sawant for his new film, Shooter.

Interestingly, Randeep and Vishram had agreed upon a bald look for his role, but Hooda’s Heroine schedule did not agree with his new look.

“Yes, we had initially decided on that look for my character. I was up for it, but since there was a schedule of Heroine in between, I was unable to concede,” says Randeep.

Vishram, according to the actor is quite unhappy about that development. “But I seriously couldn’t help it. We have worked out another look now, which will hopefully be as interesting as the bald one.”

Ask him if it was easy to convince him to shave his mane and the actor says, “I was actually looking forward to a huge change in my looks”, adding that he has never worked on multiple films simultaneously before.

Randeep has already wrapped up a schedule of Madhur Bhandarkar’s Heroine, which also stars Kareena Kapoor.

“I have also wrapped up shooting Jannat 2. And for the last few days, I’ve been busy with Shooter. I don’t know how much I can reveal about it, but it’s definitely one of the most challenging scripts that I have come across in a long time. Vishram is crazy, so if you are working with him, he’ll keep you on your toes,” he says.

The 35-year-old has little to complain about having his hands full. “Right now, it’s just not possible to work only on one film. So, I’ll have to let go of that principle,” says the Monsoon Wedding (2001) actor.
