Resul Pookutty may return his Oscar
Sound designer Resul Pookutty, who won an Oscar for Slumdog Millionaire (2009), says he may return his award.

Sound designer Resul Pookutty, who won an Oscar for Slumdog Millionaire (2009), says he may return his award.
“I’ve kept my Oscar in a bank vault ... I’m assured it is safe. But if in future I’ll be unable to care for my trophy, I may have to return it,” he told tabloid Mid Day. Costume designer Bhanu Athaiya has in the meanwhile returned her Academy Award last week.
