Chadha was rehearsing for a dance event, when she fainted due to low blood pressure

Richa Chadha, who is a trained Kathak and contemporary dancer, was recently rehearsing for a dance show (which is set to take place in Lucknow), when she collapsed due to low blood pressure. Besides practising for the event, the actor has also been shooting for two of her upcoming movies. As a result, she felt weak and fainted at the rehearsal venue on March 27.

A source close to Richa reveals, “She has been on a strict diet to keep herself in shape for her roles. She has literally been juggling all these projects. Since she had made a commitment to the dance event a while back, she did not want to back out at the last moment. So, she was rehearsing for her performance whenever she found the time for it, especially late at night, after wrapping up her films’ shoots.”

Eventually, though, the hectic schedule ended up taking a toll on her health. She was immediately rushed to a hospital, where the doctor told her that her strict diet and stressful schedule were the reasons for her low blood pressure. The source says, “Richa was kept under observation for almost three hours and was discharged with a long list of dos and don’ts.” Because of the condition of her health, however, the Masaan (2015) star will not be able to attend the event.
