Talk of fan frenzy, and this one will be a tough task to repeat. Salman Khan, who was recently in Ahmedabad to promote his upcoming film Prem Ratan Dhan Payo, was gifted 10,000 ‘love letters’ from his fans from all over the city.

Salman was attending a navratri get-together in Ahmedabad and just when it was time for him to leave, a kid approached him with a huge red box, containing the letters. A source close to the star said, “Salman was pleasantly surprised by the gesture and thanked the audiences for showering him with so much love. At home too in Mumbai, the post office in Bandra near his house is flooded with sacks full of letters for Salman.”

Salman will soon be seen as Prem in Sooraj Barjatya’s Prem Ratan Dhan Payo, opposite Sonam Kapoor. The film brings back the hit duo of Sooraj-Salman, after a gap of 16 years. Prem Ratan Dhan Payo is slated to release on 12 November.
