Shaandaar: Alia Bhatt to romance Shahid Kapoor in Queen director's next

Alia Bhatt has been paired up with Shahid Kapoor in director Vikas Bahl's next film, Shaandaar. The film is based on the theme of destination wedding and it also has Pankaj Kapur in an important role.

Student of the Year actor Alia Bhatt is acting in a film based on the theme of destination wedding. The project has been named Shaandaar, and it is being helmed by the Queen director Vikas Bahl. Shahid Kapoor will be seen opposite her in the film.

Alia Bhatt took to Twitter to announce the beginning of the first day shoot for Shaandaar. She wrote, "Today is day 1 of #Shaandaar !!!! Wish me luckkkkkk :D start of a new beautiful journey!!! Wohooooo."

The film will also see Shahid's father Pankaj Kapur in an important role.
