Shah Rukh Khan is a charming man: Neha Sharma

Although, it was director Syed Ahmad Afzal’s idea to have Shah Rukh’s name mentioned in a Youngistaan scene, Neha is a fan of the star in real-life too.

In one of the promos of her upcoming film, Youngistaan, actor Neha Sharma mentions superstar Shah Rukh Khan on her wish list. This quirky answer is her response when her co-star Jackky Bhagnani, who plays the Prime Minister of India in the movie asks her what she wants. Although, it was director Syed Ahmad Afzal’s idea to have Shah Rukh’s name mentioned in the scene, Neha is a fan of the star in real-life too.

She believes that SRK is the most loved romantic hero. “I think all girls are Shah Rukh Khan fans. I was in school when Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge (1995) released and everyone fell in love with him. Whenever we talk about a romantic hero, I can only think of him. And that’s why the director thought of having a scene like that. It’s a cute and interesting moment in the film,” says Neha.

The actor also feels that SRK is more adorable off-screen. “I met him briefly at the music launch of YPD 2 (Yamla Pagla Deewana 2; 2013). He is a very charming man. When you meet him off-screen, you tend to love him even more than what you would on-screen.
