Shah Rukh Khan, who is currently busy with director Farah Khan’s Happy New Year, is simultaneously gearing up to turn his production house into a movie studio.

A source close to the actor says, “There are a number of scripts, and his team members are trying to shortlist the ones they want to work on.” The source also reveals that they are planning to make close to six films once the actor is free. “Shah Rukh will, of course, take the final call on the scripts, but everything will move slowly till the release of his next film.”

Shah Rukh and his team are yet to decide whether he will act in any of the movies. “There are a number of films that he’s already signed. So, for his own productions, he might get other established actors or launch new faces,” says the source, adding, “His production team will be ready to reveal more information in a month’s time.”

When contacted, SRK’s spokesperson confirms the development.
