Shahid Kapoor buys rights for film title Gandi Baat

Arguably one of the most popular of the lot is ‘Gandi baat’ from R… Rajkumar (2013).

Now, we’ve learned that the actor plans to cash in on the success of the track by registering its name as a film title. He hopes that someday, he can star in a film by the same name.

A source close to the actor reveals, "Shahid’s recent songs like ‘Agal bagal’, ‘Dhating naach’, ‘Saree ke fall sa’ and ‘Gandi baat’ have had people listening to them on loop and copying his dance moves from the videos. Out of them, ‘Gandi baat’ has become synonymous with him as people just look at him and start mouthing the lyrics."

Since the audience associates the song so closely with the actor, the source says that Shahid wants to register the title ‘Gandi Baat’ for a possible film in the future.
