Shashi Kapoor stable, likely to be discharged soon

Bollywood actor Shashi Kapoor, who was admitted to a suburban hospital recently after he developed a chest infection, is currently on dialysis and his son Kunal Kapoor expects him to be discharged from the hospital in a few days.

was admitted to a suburban hospital recently after he developed a chest infection. According to reports, the veteran actor was in the ICU, a few days ago.

However, on Tuesday (September 23), his son, Kunal Kapoor, informed us that his father’s condition is now stable. "He had his breakfast, and God willing, he will come home in a couple of days," he says.

Kapoor’s sister-in-law, Neila Kapoor also confirmed the news, saying, "Shashi is on dialysis. He developed a chest infection due to the weather change, and that’s why he had to be admitted. The doctors are saying that he should be fine."

The actor’s condition was reported as being stable at the time of going to press at 4 pm.
