She made her Bollywood debut as the girl-next-door in Rocket Singh: Salesman of The Year (2009). Two years later, Shazahn Padamsee followed it up with another innocent, sweet girl act in Madhur Bhandarkar’s Dil Toh Baccha Hai Ji.

But now, ad guru Alyque Padamsee’s daughter is set to shift gears in Sajid Khan’s Housefull 2. A sequel to Housefull (2010), the film is going to see Shazahn in a different avatar. Unlike her previous characters, the actor will be seen sporting high-end fashion similar to Gossip Girl star Blake Lively.

Shazahn PadamseeApparently, makers have taken inspiration from Blake Lively because both are in the same age group and Blake is famous for her style. "Shazahn will surprise everyone with her glamorous outing.

She has never been seen in this look before,” says a unit member of the Housefull 2 team.

For the uninitiated, Blake is known for her exceptional dressing and fashion forte. She stars as Serena van der Woodsen in the television teen-drama series, Gossip Girl and has also acted in movies such as Accepted, The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants, The Private Lives of Pippa Lee, The Town and The Green Lantern.

Although Shazahn evades the query on Blake, she does promise a refurbished look. “Yes, this time around, you will see a new and redefined Shazahn on screen. I am extremely excited to play this character, especially because the look and styling is phenomenal,” she says.

Directed by Sajid Khan, Housefull 2 also stars Mithun Chakraborty, John Abraham, Rishi Kapoor and Randhir Kapoor. The film is expected to hit the theatres in April 2012.
