Social media can get really harmful: Anshuman Jha
Anshuman Jha shares his concern for social media and how he is slowly learning Twitter.
Actor Anshuman Jha says that it’s high time people realise how social media can get really detrimental. The actor, who has featured in films such as Love Sex Aur Dhokha (2010), X: Past Is Present (2014) will soon be seen playing a genius nerd in a film helmed by Shashi Sudigala.

The actor says, “It can start off with a simple friend request on Facebook. There are instances when people accept random requests if they like the photo of the sender or if it is that of a celebrity. Here, things may go wrong for the sender may not be who he or she is posing to be. The sender may be a stalker or a person with criminal intentions.”
Anshuman calls his next film to be India’s first social media thriller that will highlight such issues.
Talking about his social media inclination, the actor adds the he is into Facebook and is currently discovering Twitter. “I like how you can voice your opinion on Twitter. The more I’m learning it, the more I’m falling in love with the medium. But I don’t know what Snapchat is,” he says.
