Bollywood actor Sunny Deol, who was recently seen in Ghayal Returns and Poster Boyz, may soon star in Behzad Khambata’s film that will mark the Bollywood debut of Simple Kapadia’s son Karan. Late actress-designer Simple was Twinkle Khanna’s aunt and Dimple Kapadia’s sister. A Mumbai Mirror report claimed Deol will be seen in the action thriller where Karan plays a 26-year-old boy.

Confirming the news Tony D’Souza, who is jointly producing the film with Shrikant Bhasi, Nishant Pitti and Vishal Rana, told the tabloid that Behzad felt that Sunny was perfect for a particular role. “It’s very different from his current lot of films, including Poster Boys and Yamla Pagla Deewana 3 and takes him back to the action genre. He is in the forces and will start shooting by the end of this month,” he was quoted as saying.

Last year, in a candid conversation with Hindustan Times, Deol talked about his perception of award shows. It has a lot of similarity to what Kangana Ranaut believes: “To me, it’s not an award night. If it was an award night, one would go for an award night. And how do you give awards anyway? Here [in Bollywood], I know people say I will charge this much money or I will only come if I get this thing or I won’t come or give me this special award and all. So it’s all about that. This is what we are. Let me not go on that track further,” he had said.
