TEASER OUT: Sonakshi Sinha in her first-ever item song

Boys, move aside. Because Sonakshi Sinha is here and she is going to crack the dahi-handi this Janamashtmi in full style.

In her first ever item song, Go Govinda from the movie Oh My God! Sonakshi Sinha seems set to entertain in absolute filmy, loud and colourful style. Choreographed by Prabhu Deva, who is also shaking a leg with the actress in the song, a 15-second teaser of the song has been released.

The setting is that of Janamashtmi, with the dahi handi being the center of attraction. The song begins with the handi which has a prize amount written on it. Amidst dance, colours and cheer in the background, Prabhu Deva and Sonakshi Sinha appear with their eyes covered with their arms.

Both are dressed in white shirt and jeans, and are doing a moonwalk of sorts, but sideways.

With Sonakshi Sinha doing the difficult steps with ease and panache, it looks like a lot of hard work and rehearsals have gone into the making of her first ever item number.

As colour is being thrown around and whistles are accompanying the words, 'go, go, go govinda', a shot of Sonakshi Sinha swaying her waist fills the viewer with excitement and anticipation.

After Salman Khan’s voice-over for the first teaser, it’s now Sonakshi Sinha’s turn to shine. The actor is gearing up for her first special appearance in a Gokulashtami song for Akshay Kumar’s home production Oh My God. It will be filmed in Mumbai over five days. Directed by Ashwini Yardi and produced by Akshay Kumar, the movie features Paresh Rawal and Akshay Kumar in the lead.

The full song shall be released on August 1, just before Janamashtmi, to add glamour and celebration to the festival.
