Wait, what? Gulshan Grover is playing a good guy now. Guess the villain
Gulshan Grover is set to feature in a web movie called Badman; he will be playing the hero in it, rather than the villain.
After entertaining audiences for years on the silver screen, Bollywood’s very own villain, Gulshan Grover, is all set to take his career to the next level. We are told that Gulshan hopes to take the Internet by storm with an upcoming web movie, called Badman. Apparently, the film is a comedy, and the actor plans to use it to make his acting comeback. But this time, he will play the hero in it.

A source close to the actor reveals, “The web movie explores the dark, yet funny side of Bollywood, and features some hilarious situations. Chunky Panday will play the villain in it.” The movie has been co-written by Soumik Sen, the writer and director of the critically-acclaimed film, Gulaab Gang (2013), and by popular stand-up comedian Anuvab Pal. Soumik has also directed the movie.

When contacted, Gulshan confirms the news, saying, “I have always looked for newer challenges. It feels exciting to try something novel, and hence I am doing my first web movie. That makes me the first Bollywood star to do a movie for the web.”

Gulshan adds, “Digital entertainment is gaining popularity today, and adapting to the changing times is important. Its reach is far better than other mediums. I am sure the film is going to be a treat for the audience. I hope to take my fans by surprise by playing the hero, and showing them my not-so-bad side. I am looking forward to it.”
