As promised Karan Johar has tweeted the new theatrical trailer of Agneepath. If the buzz on web is anything to go by for this January 26 release, it should create some serious ripples.

The promo is gripping and gives one goosebumps, adding to Delhi winter chill.

Agneepath is the remake of the 1990 Hindi film of the same name. It is directed by Johar's former assistant Karan Malhotra.

The action drama stars Hrithik Roshan as Vijay Dinanath Chauhan, originally played by megastar Amitabh Bachchan in Chandan Barot's directorial venture. Priyanka Chopra will play the female lead.

The character played by Mithun Chakraborty has been done away with in the remake. The main villain will be played by Sanjay Dutt and Rishi Kapoor will play another negative character.

After Sheila Ki Jawaani and Aaya Re Aaya Bodyguard, Katrina Kaif will be seen in another item number Chikni Chameli in a rustic avatar. Karan Johar had earlier tweeted: "Katrina Kaif is doing a full on item song in AGNEEPATH....its a total swinging number called CHIKNI CHAMELI....we shoot it in a week!!"

Agneepath is scheduled to release on January 26.
