After switching places with Meghan Markle and Lady Liberty, Anushka Sharma is here is to take over Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas’ sweet moment. The actor, who has become a perennial source of brilliant memes since her Sui Dhaaga trailer came out, is seen joining the newly engaged couple in their Marathi bhajan mandli in a new and hilarious video.

In an intelligently edited video retweeted by her Sui Dhaga co-star Varun Dhawan, Anushka is seen clapping along with Priyanka as the latter’s fiance, Nick, sings a pleasant bhajan. “Kya dushmani hai Anushka se,” read the tweet with the original video while the caption on the video read “Nickrao Ganpati chi aarti kartana odhraley (Nick loses himself while praying to Ganpati). “#MEMESkirani #mamta hhahaha,” Varun wrote in his tweet and Anushka replied with laughing emojis and wrote “superbb!” Check out the video:

The video uses a scene from Sui Dhaaga’s trailer in which Anushka’s character Mamta is seen with her town’s kirtan gang and morphs it with a video of Priyanka and Nick’s visit to an orphanage after their engagement last week. In the video posted by Priyanka, Nick was heard singing his song Love Bug for his young fans in the audience.

The Sui Dhaga trailer has proven to be a goldmine of memes due to Anushka’s hilarious when out-of-context expressions. As soon as the trailer was released, the internet got busy churning out one witty joke after another. Here are a few samples:

Sui Dhaga - Made In India is based on the stories of self-reliance and high spirits of the two central characters, Mamta and Mauji, rooted in an earthy town of India.

The film is slated to hit the screens on September 28 this year.
