Yami Gautam plans to take professional training in scuba-diving

Actor Yami Gautam says that ever since she returned from Maldives after a mini vacation, she has fallen in love with the adventure sports she got to try there.

Actor Yami Gautam has had a fairly decent first half at the box office this year with two releases—Kaabil and Sarkar 3. Without much lined-up on the work front, the actor is spending most of her free time travelling. Recently, Yami planned an impending six-day vacation and whisked away to Maldives to ring in her mother’s birthday.

Actor Yami Gautam took a six-day break and went to Maldives for a family holiday.

Surprisingly, it was after four long years that the actor took off on a family vacation and spent some time with her folks. During the holiday break, Yami got to unleash her adventurous side.

Asked about the much-needed break, an excited Yami says, “Any amount of time spent with family is unwinding and the beauty is that Maldives was such a soulful rejuvenation. We went snorkelling, jet skiing, parasailing and out of all, I totally loved scuba-diving and I want to learn it professionally.”

Though it was a mini vacation, looks like Yami made the most of her me- time. “Yami always wanted to try these activities [adventure sports] and during these six days, she did try whatever she possibly could. Now that she is planning to take training in scuba-diving, she is also looking forward to visiting Maldives again,” informs a source.
