Cafe plans event for comic lovers

Here's a delightful opportunity for all you book lovers. First Comic Book Meet is being held to give comic book and graphic novel fans a platform to interact on, sell the books already read, auction for some classics and much more.

Here’s a chance for comic book aficionados to trade their read comics for newer ones, and connect with readers who share their interest. Leaping Windows, an online comic book store, and Cool Chef Cafe in Worli are organising their first Comic Book Meet , to give comic book and graphic novel fans a platform to interact on.

Says Tarun Thadani of Cool Chef Cafe, “I found the Leaping Windows concept interesting, and our common interest brought them and us together. We host a lot of unique events, and this, too, is the first of its kind.” The event will see a number of activities taking place simultaneously. While attendees can trade among each other, they can even participate in an auction of the books. The cafe will host quizzes and games related to the books.
