Ian McEwan haazir ho!

Veteran writer Ian McEwan is on the confirmed list of the third Jaipur Liternature Festival, set to happen on January 23-27.

The third Jaipur Literature Festival will be happening on January 23-27. While the grandees include Charles Allen, Willie Dalrymple, Nayantara Sahgal, Jeet Thayil and Manil Suri, the grandest of them all congregating at Diggi Palace has to be Ian McEwan.

The veteran writer is on the confirmed list and, frankly, with us getting slightly tired of the Rushdies and the Naipauls sitting among the peacocks, McEwan at the Fest should be a very welcome atonement.
