The seventh day of the Delhi International Arts Festival (DIAF) presented by Hindustan Times witnessed the launch of Asian Film Journeys, a book on Asian cinema. The event started with a brief description of the book by its editor, Latika Padgaonkar. This was followed by a formal launch of the book by MP Shashi Tharoor, film critic Aruna Vasudev, editor Rashmi Doraiswamy and publisher Shobit Arya.

Next in line was a performance by the Tetrafide percussion band from Perth, Australia. Those present at the event included DIAF director Prathibha Prahlad and author HS Rissam.
