“Not every body type can rock a flimsy choli. “Those with heavier body types can go in for a fitted corset/kurti style blouse,” recommends celebrity stylist and TV show host Rishi Raj. “It has to be a balance between comfort and beauty, with comfort getting a few extra dibs since you have to sit, squat walk and smile for hours in the heat of the havankund.”
Makeup to go
To complement this look, makeup and hair expert Aashmeen Munjaal suggests sea green eyeshadow and beige brown lips with a big, bold, round bindi; or dull gold and maroon eyes with a deep green eyeliner and lush transparent glossy lips.
