There couldn’t have been a better debut for me than Junoon (1978) as it gave me the opportunity to work alongside all the stalwarts of the industry.

I’m basically a quiet and a peaceful person. But if I see anything wrong happening around me, I try to address it.
Who is your idol and why?
Mother Teresa. When I took my three children to meet her, it was surreal. She’s a beautiful woman.
If you could invite five people for dinner, who would you call?
Barack Obama, Nelson Mandela, Mother Teresa, Lady Diana and Indira Gandhi.
A stylish item you are dying to own?
A diamond-studded Rolex watch.
