Taiwan's Acer Inc, the world's third-largest PC vendor, said on Wednesday it expects its revenue to be roughly flat in the second quarter compared with the first quarter.

The company gave the guidance at an investor conference to discuss its first quarter results. It reported first-quarter consolidated revenue of T$127.38 billion ($4.2 billion).
It said previously at the conference it expects its laptop shipments to rise more than 40 per cent in 2008, as demand for notebook PCs pick up in emerging markets.
