Arcelor Mittal eyes 10 mn tonnes steel plants in India

Mittal says that the capacity at two steel plants in Orissa & J'khand firm is looking to build could be around 10 mn tonnes a year.
Arcelor Mittal chief executive Lakshmi Mittal on Wednesday said capacity at two steel plants the firm is looking to build in Orissa and Jharkhand could be around 10 million tonnes a year.
"We have appointed consultants for the projects. Once the detailed feasibility report is ready, we will decide the capacity," Mittal told reporters.

"Today we want infrastructure for 10 million tonnes capacity each." Earlier, he said the steel plants would need 600 million tonnes of coal reserves each.
