The petition sought annulment of a family MoU between the rival groups.
PTI quoted Additional Solicitor General Parasaran’s communication to the law ministry as saying, “I found that broadly the SLP was acceptable, but was of the view that we should confine ourselves to the grievances as an aggrieved party arising out of the judgement of the Bombay High Court.”
“The SLP in its final shape was not seen by me,” he said.
Parasaran told HT, “This is completely misleading.”
“I myself advised the petroleum ministry on the filing of SLP and am fully aware of its conceptualisation. The SLP was made, drafted and filed on my advice before the Supreme Court.”
“It was a routine communication where I clarified that part of the Ambani MoU which deals with gas should be nullified.”
