HT Media Q4 revenue up 6% at Rs.512 cr

HT Media Limited on Friday announced a 6% growth in total revenue in the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2012 at Rs.512 crore from Rs.481.1 crore during the year-ago period.

For the year-ending March 31, 2012, consolidated revenues stood at Rs.2,078 crore — a growth of 15% compared to Rs.1,810.2 crore in 2010-11.

Net profit during the year stood at Rs.165.5 crore against R180.9 crore in 2010-11 — down by 9%.

The Board has also recommended a dividend of 20%.

“We are pleased at ending the year with a financial and operational performance that’s encouraging, especially since this has been achieved in an environment that continues to be challenging in terms of high input costs and amid a slowdown in advertisement growth,” said Shobhana Bhartia, Chairperson and Editorial Director, HT Media.
