After a pilot in Lucknow, the company now plans to launch the project in other locations.

Reverse supply chain is a series of actions to retrieve a used item from a customer to either dispose of or reuse it. It is gaining importance in many manufacturing sectors like computers.

While creating awareness on the importance of saving paper, the company, through the reverse supply chain, will collect newspapers from readers at a fair price.

HT, through its school campaigns, wants kids to understand the importance of a newspaper and also protect the environment by recycling paper and saving trees.

Attractive gifts may also be offered for used newspapers.
