After taking over as the president, he said that the institute has barred former PriceWaterhouse auditor Vadlamani Srinivas and ex-CFO of Satyam Srinivas Talluri from practicing for life, and slapped a penalty of Rs 5 lakh each on them for their role in the Satyam fraud.

Shah added that the verdict on ex-PW partner S Gopalakrishnan and V Prabhakar Gupta, former internal auditor, would be finalised in a month.
