Jubilant rebounds, Q3 net Rs 100.8 cr

Jubilant Organosys Ltd has reported a 215 per cent rise in net profit in the October-December quarter at Rs 100.8 crore from a loss of Rs 87.6 crore in the same quarter of last year.

Jubilant Organosys Ltd has reported a 215 per cent rise in net profit in the October-December quarter at Rs 100.8 crore from a loss of Rs 87.6 crore in the same quarter of last year. Revenues in Q3 grew by 5.7 per cent at Rs 961.5 crore against Rs 909.6 crore the previous year.

“Our performance was led by healthy growth in the pharma and life sciences business,” Shyam S Bhartia, CMD, Jubilant Organosys, said. “The biggest contribution to revenue came from custom research and manufacturing services which benefited from robust volume growth.”

The pharma and life sciences segment grew at 13 per cent to Rs 858.2 crore in the quarter, while international sales grew by 8.5 per cent to Rs 624.2 crore.
