In the first Hindustan Times-MaRS Consumer Satisfaction Survey covering 1,330 respondents across 10 Indian cities, Kingfisher barely edged past rival Jet Airways to the top position, while the public sector Air India came in last (8th rank).

“While the differentials are rarely large, the consistency cannot be ignored,” says Raghu Roy, MD, MaRS Monitoring & Research Pvt Ltd, HT’s knowledge partner for this initiative.

In other findings, Bangalore emerges as the city with the most satisfied flyers, while Ahmedabad has the least.
