
Nasscom names Ratan Tata for title
The National Association of Software and Services Companies (NASSCOM) and 'Voice' on Tuesday named Tata group Chairman Ratan Tata for its Leadership Global Indian Award, 2008.
The trade body has also named British Airways CEO Willie Walsh and Cisco Chairman John Chambers for the titles of Business Transformation award and Business Leader Award respectively, Nasscom said in a press release issued in Mumbai on Tuesday.
The awards seek to recognize the outstanding business leaders and visionaries from across the world and will be presented to the winners on February 14 in Mumbai, Nasscom said.
Nasscom is country's premier trade body and has around 1050 members, of which around 200 are global companies, it said.
