Sensex up 61 points in early trade

The Bombay Stock Exchange opened up 0.51 per cent on Wednesday, with Reliance Industries Ltd and ITC leading the gains.
At 9:57 am, the 30-share BSE index was up 0.38 per cent, or 61.44 points, at 16,337.03, with 23 of its components rising.
The 50-issue NSE index was up 0.14 percent at 4,866.75.
