Zee Telefilms Ltd on Friday reported 32.15 per cent dip in net profit at Rs 30.68 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2005 as compared to Rs 45.22 crore for the same period in 2004-05.

Total income, however, increased 13.46 per cent to Rs 177.69 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2005 from Rs 156.61 crore in the year-ago period, the company informed the Bombay Stock Exchange.
The Group has posted a profit of Rs 77.85 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2005 as compared to Rs 69.13 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2004.
Total income has increased to Rs 358.39 crore for the first quarter from Rs 294.14 crore in the same quarter previous year.
Rajan Jetely, ex-chairman of Air India, has been inducted as independent director and a member of the board of directors of the company, it said.
