Additional and district and sessions judge Anshu Shukla while presiding over a special court for crime against women asked the convict, Dalip, to pay Rs 10,000 as penalty. The victim identified the accused and recalled how the youth had molested her.
The UT police on April 30, 2013 had booked Dalip on the complaint of the victim's father who alleged that the accused was working as a private electrician and they had called him home to repair their heater. The complainant alleged that finding his daauhter alone at home the accused molested her.
The victim said she raised an alarm when the accused molested her.
On the other hand, Geeta, the mother of the accused, said her son was implicated since he had refused to repair the complainant's heater as they were using a kundi connection.
Geeta claimed her son had threatened to lodge a complaint against them following which he was booked on charges of molesting the victim.
