A first for army: 2 women officers scale Mt Everest
Though male officers have undertaken numerous mountaineering expeditions all over the world, it is for the first time that two women army officers have scaled Mt Everest, the world's highest peak.While Maj Neha Bhatnagar scaled the peak on May 25, Capt Smitha L achieved the feat a day later. Both the women officers are posted with the Chandimandir-based Western Command.
