The US national resembles Mahatma Gandhi in his looks, dresses like him and is believed to be spreading Ghandhian thoughts throughout the world.

He has been visiting the city for the past five years for the annual International Youth Peace Fest organised by city-based NGO-Yuvsatta and Oxfam-India.

The event is organised to motivate and inspire the young volunteers to spread the message of peace. Bernie Meyer, among others, also wrote messages on peace on hot-air balloons at the college. He was joined by another peace activist Larry Kerschner-a Vietnam war veteran, Nairus-a belle dancer from Venzuella and college principal JS Raghu.
