Ashwani Sekhri appointed PPCC spokesman

Former minister Ashwani Sekhri has been appointed as the spokesman of Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee, party sources said in Chandigarh on Saturday.

Former minister Ashwani Sekhri has been appointed as the spokesman of Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee, party sources said in Chandigarh on Saturday.

A minister in Amaridner Singh's cabinet in the year 2002, Sekhri was appointed to the post by PPCC President and MP Mohinder Singh Kay Pee, they said.

Sekhri was also the party's campaign committee convenor during the Lok Sabha polls this year, they added.
