Branch manager Ravinder Kumar has filed a complaint. At 2.44am on Tuesday, a guard from Chaupda Street nearby alerted the police. "The burglars arrived at 2.35am in a Toyota Innova car. Three of them made the guard unconscious with a gas spray and broke into the kiosk, blinded its surveillance cameras with a black spray, uprooted the chest with rods, and were off with it in three minutes," says the police account.

This is the fifth ATM theft in Sirsa and Fatehabad in a quick succession and all cases are unsolved. "The burglars were done with their job at 2.39 am," said city station house officer (SHO) Suresh Pal, adding that a case had been registered. "The ATM was refilled on November 11 and after the last transaction, still have Rs 4.50 lakh inside," said branch manager Ravinder Kumar.
